The OpenStores community platform www.openstores.com.au has finally gone live! You are all invited to join the community. You can bring your OpenStore onto the platform, or simply be a customer to build your own personalized shopping network. Find out more about the platform at http://www.openstores.com.au/faq.html

While it is launched as a Beta version, all suggestions, requests, comments are more than welcome. It is also completely FREE to use the platform. After you sign up on the OpenStores platform, don't forget to add Intelliworks as your Favourite store in your personalized shopping network. We will then become the popular store! Your store can be one of the popular stores as well if you invite your customers to join the platform.

I have registered with the openstores, I noticed some of the shops have products in them, how to I get my products to show.

These are the steps to add products -

1) Sign up an account (skip if you've done it) at http://www.openstores.com.au/join.html
2) Login with your new account.
3) Select tab My Home -> My Managed Stores. Add your store.
4) After your store is added, select Add Products under your new store.Add your products.

Hi Openstores, Is this the same as todays special?. I think I may be missing something, do I have to sign up somehwere else? I checked and my shop isn't in this part being discussed in this thread.
But I know about todays special..is this a different thing?

It is a completely different website. The FAQ page http://www.openstores.com.au/faq.html may give you some ideas on how it works. But please ask if you have any questions.

Here are the simple steps to start with:
1) Sign up a new account at http://www.openstores.com.au/join.html
2) Login with your new account.
3) Select tab My Home -> My Managed Stores. Add your store.
4) After your store is added, select Add Products under your new store. Add your products.
5) Invite your customers to join and add your store into their favourite list to make your store "popular". Ask them to recommend your store on the website.

Hi Openstores, well I put the store in and managed to get a product in, but when it came for the URL for the thumbnail image for the item, that had me. I opened the store in another browser to copy all the things I needed, but cannot find a link for a thumbnail of the product???

Just right click on the image and then click properties, that will have the URL you need.

Well I tried and tried, but I cannot seem to get it!
Do I have to reduce the images to 90x90 for them to show up? I tried linking to my store images I even tried photobucket after I resized the images, but nope they won't' show up.I did view source to see what others had done, copied their links and changed them to mine, but nope! What have I done wrong..here is what I tried

The image is the link to the product thumbnail. For example, when you go
to the product page
http://enchanted-emerald-forest-designs ... tml?id=333, right mouse
click on the product image and select "Properties". You will see the image
link as
http://enchanted-emerald-forest-designs ... cketos.jpg.
The thumbnail of the image is usually adding the prefix small_ to the file
name
http://enchanted-emerald-forest-designs ... cketos.jpg
- this is the image link you use for www.openstores.com.au.

If the image is not 90x90, www.OpenStores.com.au will resize it to that size.
